Santa Croce is the burial place of some of Italy's most popular artists. The tombs of Galileo, Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Dante, and many more. We wandered around a bit. There isn't much to say about the church. It's was pretty and kind of strange to see the manry crypts.

That afternoon we headed to the famous Ufizzi Gallery. We putzed around for what felt like years to cover some of the expansive collection of amazing art. It was a great day. The more time I spend in Florence the more I find that I am beginning to like Italy. Not that I hated Venice and CT but Florence is more my speed I guess.

Check out this horse's sweet rain gear.
