The leather market was fun even for those of us who are trying not to fill our backpacks to the brim. Lots of colorful leather goods and trinkets alike.

It is said that if you rub the nose of the pig you will one day return to Venice.

Through the streets of Venice cars new and old were tearing through the streets in some sort of competition, show???
After lunch we headed up the hill to Michaeangelo's park. Great views of the city to be had with another David reproduction, this time in green.

View from the Park

David a la Verde
Next Erica and I hit the streets of Florence to find us some new clothes. I have caved from almost two months of no new clothes to spice up my backpack a bit. I think reading this blog and seeing the frequency of some of the shirts I like began to bother me.....more than a little.
Last, but not least, we headed out to a popular student restaurant to get some all-you-can-eat food. It was good, cheap but not as good as the night before the girls with us explained. Packed and ready for the train the morning we had a few drinks with some of the hostel guests and called it a night. Tomorrow Rome!
